The Science School organises Student-Led Academic Review Meetings (SLARM) twice every term, providing an opportunity for parents to actively engage with their child’s academic journey and overall progress.

During these meetings, students take the lead in presenting and reviewing their academic performance, achievements and areas for improvement. Parents can discuss their child’s progress with teachers, ask questions and share any concerns or observations that may support the student’s development.

SLARM is an important part of the school’s commitment to strong parent–school partnership and student accountability. It ensures that parents remain informed and involved while encouraging students to take greater responsibility for their learning and personal growth.

At the end of the review, parents are invited to share their feedback by completing the Parent Comment Sheet provided in the classroom. The completed form should be submitted to the Front Office on the same day.

Through SLARM, students, parents and teachers work together to identify strengths, address challenges and support each student towards achieving their full potential.
