We believe that students learn and progress at different rates. Our academic approach encourages students to take responsibility for their learning while providing guidance and support to help them improve.

Where students do not meet the required academic standards, the school may provide additional learning support, including Top Up programmes and opportunities to rewrite examinations, where applicable.

The Science School offers a range of age-appropriate electives and activities designed to complement the academic curriculum and give students opportunities to explore their interests.

Electives take place on Fridays and run throughout the academic year. Students are encouraged to participate fully and take advantage of these opportunities to develop new skills, discover interests and broaden their learning experience.
