Inspiring Excellence Through Science, Knowledge & Discovery
At The Science School, we are committed to academic excellence and to providing students with the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to achieve their potential. Our academic programme combines the Nigerian Curriculum with the Cambridge IGCSE, providing a strong foundation for further education and future opportunities.
Our curriculum is designed to develop students academically while encouraging critical thinking, creativity, scientific enquiry and problem-solving.
We offer:
We believe that students learn and progress at different rates. Our academic approach encourages students to take responsibility for their learning while providing guidance and support to help them improve.
Where students do not meet the required academic standards, the school may provide additional learning support, including Top Up programmes and opportunities to rewrite examinations, where applicable.
At The Science School, we take academic performance seriously and encourage every student to make the best of every learning opportunity.
Our grading system is:
Students are expected to maintain the school’s required academic standards and are provided with appropriate support where improvement is needed.
The Science School offers a range of age-appropriate electives and activities designed to complement the academic curriculum and give students opportunities to explore their interests.
Electives take place on Fridays and run throughout the academic year. Students are encouraged to participate fully and take advantage of these opportunities to develop new skills, discover interests and broaden their learning experience.
At The Science School, academic excellence is about more than grades. We aim to develop students who are curious, disciplined, creative, analytical and motivated to learn.
Through our curriculum, academic support and enrichment activities, we encourage students to explore knowledge, apply what they learn and prepare confidently for the future.
