PUNCTUALITY
Please be reminded that school resumes at 7.15am. We need to work together to ensure that our students are taught the importance of punctuality as this helps nurture a sense of responsibility and the assurance of a consistent morning routine. It is important that the students are in school on or before 8 am in order to be part of all the activities planned for the day and to also prevent interruptions to learning in the class. Note: Students who come to school after the said time will not be allowed into the School premises. Persistent lateness may lead to suspension and a late drop off fee will be charged.
CLOSING TIME
The official closing time is 4.15pm with a 15 mins grace.
ABSENTEEISM
It is important that our students attend school on a daily basis. If it is absolutely necessary for them to be absent from school, parents should give the school two weeks’ notice to enable the teacher make adequate arrangements so that the students do not miss much of the learning during their absence. In the event that this is not done, topics learnt during the Student’s absence will not be re-visited. Each day in TSS is full of learning experiences and when our students are absent, they are denied the learning experience(s) for the day(s).
HOMEWORK
Spending time and helping your children with their homework will provide them with the incentive to work harder and learn the skills necessary to achieve in school, therefore this opportunity should not be treated lightly. Please work with us in bringing out the best in our children. Note: A way to help is by providing a quiet place for the children to complete their work without television interference or other distractions, as well as a healthy diet and adequate sleep. Remember the saying, “early to bed, early to rise makes a child healthy, wealthy and wise”. Submission of homework is taken seriously and the school gives a warning strike when homework is not submitted. Remember raising a total child is our vision, disobeying the school rules will be working against this Noble vision.
